This place takes two hours from Kuantan to Terengganu, you will across the Awana Kijal Beach, Golf & Spa Resort in three minutes and will found the signboard and the signboard will show you to turn right into kamesik beach. Kemasik Beach is located between Kijal town and Kerteh town. Kijal is the town you see before you reach Kemasik Beach and Kerteh is the town you see after you driven passed the beach for a while.
Kemasik Beach also called Pantai Kemasik is beautiful place and suitable to release tension and get some rest with family and friends. The clean and pictures beach will give you the good emotion and feel better. This place also suitable to set up campaign tents, flying kites or just waking at around the beach. Beside that you also can climb the large rocks and enjoy the view of the sea and beach from there. You also can fishing at the Kemasik River.
There also have the playground and mini park at the beach near at the Kemasik beach and easy to children enjoy at kemasik beach. You also can might spot a cow eat grass at this area. There are have the several food stall in Kemasik beach and where can you buy the light snacks and have a taste local food like “keropok lekor”. After all, if you not interested to eat in the food court at kemasik beach, you can go Kemaman Restaurant, Mohd Noor Mohd Madarsa restaurant , McDonald Kerteh, Papa Chop Mama Grill, Kijal and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) kijal. All of this place near with the Kemasik beach and you also can buy and eat near beach too.
Every people always ask “how to get there?” , so if you drive by car, you will Take the East Coast Highway heading towards Kuala Terengganu. When you reach the border of the state of Terengganu, you'll pass through the town of Kemaman. Drive on towards the town of Kijal. Drive slowly when your reach Kijal because you might miss the turn into 'Pantai Kemasik'. Just after Kijal and a slight turn on the road, you'll see a signboard that says 'Pantai Kemasik'. Turn right after the signboard and you've reached the beach.
You also can taking the bus to come the kemasik beach. First you must buy a bus ticket at Terminal Makmur, Kuantan to Kijal, Terengganu. After that, you can stay at Kijal or Kerteh and take a taxi to the beach. To your information, DO NOT ask your bus driver to drop you off at Kemasik beach because its not easy to get around if you don’t have a car. I will recommend that you stay in Kijal or Kerteh (near town) and either take a taxi or rent a car to the beach. If you come by air, There are have flights Kuala Terengganu by Malaysia Airlines. From the airport, grab a taxi to Marang and go to kemasik beach.
The visitor or tourist don’t worry about where are you want to stay if you want having a long time at kemasik beach. You can live at Awana Kijal beach, Golf & Spa Resort , Strawberry Kijal Resort Apartments, Awana Apartment Kijal, Kerteh Inn and New Sri Buana Hotel. This place also near at kemasik beach. You also can feel good environment and feel at the better will upset or broken when clash with patner.
At kemasik beach have two large rocks are attract people because people can touch that rocks and can climb it. But when the water will increase the large rocks will around the sea and we can thinks that the island. The large rocks will make people very happy and feel that rocks having the secret in a story and you can found at around the sea something like the big jellyfish. Its true because its first big jellyfish in my life in 10 years ago. You also can see the “belacak”. This is fish are have head and can move faster and live at the near “bakau” tree.
So, kemasik beach is suitable for your destination because in my experience this place can make you happy with the family and also can release tension when you having the problem in study or work.
